Weather was fabulous so many of us made the journey to East Kirkby in our cherished vehicles.
The Lancaster was in the hanger undergoing its annual overhaul. It was great to get so close and personal; what a wingspan! Two engines in place while the others waited patiently on their stands.
The static exhibits were very realistic, making full use of authentic props, such as this photo taken inside the control tower.
