As you will have seen in the last issue of the club magazine we are hoping to attend as a group several Lincolnshire shows this year.
These include, Thorpe Camp, Normandby Hall, Louth Classic, Cadwell Historic, Sutton on Sea, East Kirkby and Boston Show.
We intend to form a group and have an on site tent and possibly tea/coffee facilities at each venue (Health & Safety permitting).
The first event is Thorpe Camp.
Thorpe Camp is an ex WW2 base near Woodall Spa, they have a large collection of memorabilia and planes distributed across several buildings, there is an on site cafe serving afternoon teas with a good selection of home made cakes or pack a picnic.
We have booked for Sunday 24th April exclusively for our club and are hoping for a good turn out for a gentle introduction to the show season and an opportunity to once again start using our cars. April 24th is also National Drive It Day when many Classics will be out and about. The Camp opens at 12:30 and closes at 5:00
Entry is for Classics only, there is no formal entry fee, however it is customary to make a £5 donation per car to Thorpe Camp which is a registered Charity run by volunteers.
No need for form filling I just need to know the number of people wanting to attend so that I can confirm numbers to the Thorpe Camp Secretary in early March.
